Course Overview
Our Texas Grade 9 Social Studies (World Geography Studies) course is designed according to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards. The curriculum helps students understand physical geography, human geography, world cultures, global economies, political systems, environmental issues, and international relationships.
Students develop map-reading, research, analytical thinking, and global awareness while preparing for higher-level World History, Government, Economics, AP Human Geography, and college-level social sciences.
