Texas Science — Grade 8
Comprehensive Course Syllabus
Course Overview
Our Texas Grade 8 Science course is designed according to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards. The curriculum prepares students for high school Biology, Chemistry, and Physics by strengthening concepts in physical science, Earth and space science, life science, engineering, and scientific investigation.
Students develop scientific inquiry, laboratory skills, critical thinking, and STEM problem-solving abilities through hands-on experiments, research projects, and real-world applications.
