Course Overview
Our Texas Grade 5 English Language Arts & Reading (ELAR) course is designed according to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards. The curriculum develops advanced reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, and research skills to prepare students for middle school.
Students read a wide variety of literary and informational texts, strengthen critical thinking, improve written communication, and become confident speakers and lifelong readers.
