Course Overview
Our Texas Grade 10 Social Studies (World History Studies) course is designed according to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards. The curriculum explores major world civilizations, historical events, political systems, economic development, global conflicts, technological progress, and cultural transformations from approximately 1450 to the present day.
Students strengthen historical thinking, research, critical analysis, map skills, and evidence-based reasoning while preparing for U.S. History, Government, Economics, AP World History, and college-level social sciences.
