New Jersey Olympiad Studies — Grade 7
Comprehensive Course Syllabus
Course Overview
Our New Jersey Grade 7 Olympiad Studies course is an enrichment and competitive-preparation program designed to strengthen students’ advanced mathematical reasoning, scientific thinking, logical reasoning, verbal ability, computational thinking, and STEM problem-solving skills.
The program builds on Grade 7 academic expectations while introducing students to non-routine problems, Olympiad-style questions, analytical puzzles, scientific challenges, coding problems, research activities, and timed mock competitions. New Jersey does not have a separate state-mandated subject called “Olympiad Studies.” This is an enrichment program that extends the state’s Grade 7 expectations in areas such as Mathematics, Science, English Language Arts, and Computer Science & Design Thinking.
