New Jersey Olympiad Studies — Grade 1
Comprehensive Course Syllabus
Course Overview
Our New Jersey Grade 1 Olympiad Studies course is an enrichment program designed to develop logical reasoning, mathematical thinking, scientific curiosity, language skills, problem-solving, and competitive examination confidence in young learners.
The program builds upon New Jersey's Grade 1 learning expectations in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, Computer Science & Design Thinking, and related areas, while providing additional challenge through Olympiad-style questions, puzzles, investigations, and creative activities. New Jersey's Mathematics standards specifically emphasize problem solving, reasoning, modeling, strategic tool use, precision, and recognizing patterns and structure.
