Course Overview

California Grade 7 Olympiad Studies is an enrichment and competition-preparation program designed to strengthen advanced mathematical reasoning, logical thinking, science reasoning, visual reasoning, and higher-order problem-solving skills. Students work on challenging problems that require careful observation, multiple-step reasoning, pattern recognition, and creative approaches rather than simple recall.

Note: Olympiad Studies is an enrichment program and is not a separate mandatory California state subject. The course is designed to complement Grade 7 Mathematics and Science learning while preparing students for age-appropriate Olympiad-style and competitive examinations.
