Teaching Methodology

Our Grade 6 Olympiad Studies classes build advanced reasoning through progressively harder challenge work.

Students learn through:

Challenge-Based Learning: Students regularly work on problems that require deeper reasoning rather than simple recall.
Concept + Application: Mathematical and scientific concepts are followed by challenging application-based questions.
Logical Reasoning: Students develop deduction, pattern recognition, comparison, and analytical thinking skills.
Visual Problem Solving: Diagrams, shapes, sequences, and spatial challenges strengthen visual reasoning.
Multiple Strategies: Students are encouraged to discover and compare different ways to solve a problem.
Step-by-Step Reasoning: Students learn to explain how they reached an answer rather than focusing only on the final result.
Timed Practice: Regular timed activities help students improve speed while maintaining accuracy.
Progressive Difficulty: Problems increase in complexity as students develop confidence and problem-solving ability.
